W203 Door Mirror Cover Removal

Hi All,

A simple one:

I need to remove the cover on my door mirror to make a repair to the indicator feed cables, as when I pull the mirrors in for parking the indicator stops working and the malfunction warning comes on too, obviously a broken wire in the loom!

I did a similar task on my previous W203 but that just pulled off easily.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

That is the same as on the 1999 onward, I had a feeling that they changed in 05/6

Hi all..
Me again, different W203 2006, I'm getting a message of that the door mirror indicator fault, sounds like a break in the wiring as it usually only happens when the mirrors have been tucked in, so, my question is for those in the know, do the mirrors have a separate harness or is the harness integral to the mirror itself?
Is it replace or repair?????
