W211 frnt shocker ... which model does this fit?

Hello
Can anyone tell me which model of the W211 this Sachs front shocker is suitable for.
I've looked through a Sachs (ZF) brochure and cant see any reference to number 312 563
Please see attached photos.
Numbers on the shocker are:
312 563
54 1700 314 364
84 4904 005 473

I'm hoping it will be ok for my 2004 W211 E270 CDi Avantgarde

According to eBay it will fit most W211 models including yours.

Thanks for the link, much appreciated.
I was searching Sachs for the 312 563 reference number as I thought the other 12 digit numbers were Mercedes part numbers.
From the link you provided it appears this fits lots of models, including the E270 Cdi so I assume its a 'standard' rated shocker rather than a sport so I feel safe to use it.

James I have the same model as yours, what are the symptoms you are experiencing for changing front shocks?

im pretty sure the avantgarde model was fitted with super touring front shocks. should be little or no gap between wheel arch and wheel .
