It could be a sensor or the display and best to get an indie to read the codes out. I can let you have the paper on removing the sensors

I have a mechanic hook it to the computer and everything looked fine, no errors came up. But I still have a problem.

Did that mechanic have a MB STAR system? The fault is normally caused by one or more faulty sensors. A generic diagnostic tool wont show this fault.

Just had a rear sensor replaced today on my C250 CGI (S204) - it was giving the same problem as you mention.

Hello all

I am having the same issue on my 2006 w219. The problem started with the rear left sensors not picking up anything and then in humid or damp conditions the entire system fails. Sometimes without even making the long beep. Any help much appreciated.

Hi Malcolm. I know this post is rather old, but could you be of some help to me? My parking sensors have packed up, front and rear, but the light where you turn it off inside the car lights up red.Have you any idea what I can do to sort out the problem?
Thanks John

As above, likely to be a duff sensor - a fault readout will pinpoint which.
