W220 oil level sensor

I believe I may have a problem with the oil level sensor on my S320cdi - The dash display tells me intermitantly to check engine oil , yes you guessed it is ok !!!.
Is this a difficult job to replace the sensor ? Does anyone have any fitting guides or instructions to hand ?
