Does anyone have the schematics showing how the w220 screenwash system is connected together that they could send to me please?

The reason is ask is because yesterday I tried to wash the headlight and on the off side light, loads of water squirted out, to the extent that the check screenwash fault warning came up. I refilled the screenwash last night and this morning I noticed screenwash flooding out of the bottom of the car and on the under tray after I pressed the wash button. So it seems that there may be a pipe that has disconnected or perished but I’m not sure where to start in locating/sorting it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much.

I thought this might be a bit of a niche one. I’ve fixed the problem as it turned out to be a headlamp washer jet that had come away from its mounting. Amazing that it caused such a dramatic leak. Not sure if it’s good form to post a link to other forums but some MB enthusiasts boards in the US had some useful diagrams and advice on screenwash leaks for this model.

The jets just pull out, need to pry open the little doors though. The jets also just push in till they click, clean the bases of the jets and the recess where they fit as they accumulate a lot of gunk. Its only water pressure that make them push out of the bumber.

As above please also use the forum to post detailed solutions, helps other members and makes the forum a forum

The pipes can detach from the union inside the bumper. Mine did it, exact same system as your 220. Bumper off job to fix.
