I reckon F1 stewards get a free Ferrari at the end of each season. Can't think why else they would show themselves to be so clearly biased in such a public way.
Even Whiting thought he was ok and as it didn't affect the outcome why would they give one of the most serious penalties to what was at worst a minor misdemenour. - Oh yes, because he committed the more serious offence of "winning whilst not driving a Ferrari".

was hamilton robbed ?

yes he was robbed . ron dennis might just be thinking maybe all the trouble and deducted points and fines etc is not worth it and i will call it a day. ron if you look inside yourself you know everytime they hurt you you are big enough to take it and WILL come back stronger.. lewis can and will win the title and will hold it for a long time;)

rules are rules it works both ways so not the end of the world

Then perhaps Massa should also have been penalised in the previous race?
Do we need any more proof that the FIA is pro Ferrari and anti McLaren:evil:

Absolutely disgusting decision. Clearly biased and possibly racist too. Who are these 'Stewards' I hope 'have a night out with Max' isnt one of them.:evil:

The funny thing is Ferrari fans have the exact same feeling about the FIA and McLaren, ever think it may be more about money and sponsorship and getting people talking about it..

Hmmm, I would think that the FIA would want to encourage attacking driving, overtaking, etc,. The race was predictably dull apart from the first lap and the last two laps.

Watched the replay of that last night on the repeat showing and yes absolutely he was in the wrong, he did gain advantage by cutting the corner, and he shouldnt really try to pass a ferarri anyhow...fair is fair...

Agree with you. It's a close call but I think a fair one. If in any doubt, lets imagine it happened in the mid-nineties and it was Schumacher trying to pass Hill.................

.........think the stewards would be applauded in that case ;)

Hamilton's car for whatever reason travelled across the grass. Now surely that slowed him down??
He takes his foot of the throttle and allows Rikonnen to assume the lead.
If after that Hamilton had'nt overtaken again, would he have suffered a 25 sec' penalty???
No he would'nt.

The facts of the matter are, as borne out by Rikonnen's subsequent performance in the wet, that Rikonnen was actualy at that point slowing down due to his inability to handle the conditions.

How anybody can think that was fair especially with
'Max the fascist' in charge is incredulus.
