Water warning light.

Hi.

I have a 1997 C200 auto.

A few weeks ago, the water temp? (it's the one with what looks like an engine with waves in it) warning light kept coming on when I started the engine, but would go off once the engine was warm.

Then it started to stay on for a while longer, and go off then back on at different intervals.

It now is on all the time, and is bugging me.

Any ideas?

I had it serviced by a reputable garage - Greenvale services in Whitefield, in May, and they did a full diagnostic but found nothing.

if you car is like mine then there the car radiator;s reserve tank sits on top of the radiator (all in one), make SURE that it is absolutely full to the brim with coolant/water,

With all of the rain that we have had, do check that the is no water in the module box under the bonnet, it could also be water in the engine fan control box behind the bumper near side
