I have been reading tensioner and poly v belt replacement threads because at first I had a squeak squeak squeak noise post my indie changing my V belt and now there is a severe rattling coming from somewhere in the general frontal area of the car.

Could they have in correcltly fitted the belt and not tightened the tensioner properly?

If so is there any way of discovering it conclusively?

The chances are that now the new belt has been fitted, it has finished off the idler
