There is a guy on here with an iPad mounted for a sat nav, but I don't know how he mounted it.

Suprisingly for me, the C63s was more impressive. Don't get me wrong the AMG GT is a weapon (and sounds glorious), but I don't think I'd want one as a daily drive (too many setting options). Would recomend the experience to anyone though

Lovely drive home early this morning eyeing up through the gunsite from the driver's seat, didn't see one enemy Bemmer or Audi.......
I managed 36.9 mpg at 47mph for my 30 minute commute, not too bad for the Money Pit

Reinstated the bonnet star looks much better now. Thought I’d grease the internals (the hook that connects to the spring on the star) that decided to decompose hence it dropping off

The star base locking mechanism does need quite a lot of pressure to fully seat it in position, some of the installation videos on YouTube don’t show it fully locked it should travel 90 degrees and click

A trip to Brooklands today, all electrical items ticket boo on the new battery, even the drivers door mirror has not missed a swing since fitment. Leaving Brooklands we had first use of the air conditioning on LO this year, has not been below 17°C up until today. Failed miserably on the cold front, I just know it will be something reassuringly expensive. @00slk Moneypit II, the blue ones are the worse!

Had the same my tyre, now £15 lighter.

At least they let me to keep the screw and the washer saying is reusable and try to fix something else not the tyres

Bin day tomorrow so I emptied the workshop bins and noticed the packet containg the old number plate Festoon bulbs, this prompted me for no reason to check the s211 footwell lamps. Both good, passenger side disconnected by the muppet who fitted new carbon filters. That would be me.

Then I noticed this:



Glovebox damper, disconnected it was. Who knew? Not me.

Glovebox now drops with utter time wasting decadent luxury.
