Arrh....... Where are those Keys Kiwi :p
Ah but are you any better than me (4th in the nationals)?

I actually do have a job for someone.
Trying to figure out how to get the Smart back to the UK (SORN and no MOT - we had planned to put it on French plates) given I have to go over in August in the 210 and bring the 129 back) and need the Smart around September....
Only option so far is go over in 210, come back in 129, go back in 129 after it gets MOT, come back in 210, fit towbar, borrow car trailer, go back in 210 collect Smart and come back with it on a trailer.

Confused......you will be after another episode of 'Soap' :D
Well it just so happens that I have a transporter lorry ;)
Unfortunately it needs the diesel pump sorting after I transport the 55 down to AMF Monday week. You are welcome to use it when I have the pump done :)
Of I can zip over :D

Tried and failed to fix the SL's parking brake, spent an hour and got nowhere.

A different leak not involving water :D

With me it's usually air getting in.
Just spent 5 minutes trying to start a hedge cutter before discovering it was out of fuel, so my limited diagnostic ability is even less in the sun.
I recommend an aerosol of gas leak (not leek, that comes after eating leeks) detector. Worked great on my friends W211.

Doesn't bother me at all Alistair, but only after the pumps been fixed though.
:)
Does it include a small stay at your place in Normandy re-couperating after that 500 mile one way journey ;)

Normandy? You've not even begun......
The nearest big town is Pons....

But (subject to social distancing and Covid regulations) a stay would definitely be possible (with obligatory BBQ and excess wine/beer/local cognac).

Yep, that's quite a trek.
We did it last June though stopped over night in LeMans and then on to Limoges. So very doable, could even make it a join venture with Russ in separate vehicles of course......
