I know what you mean , mine get a proper clean and wax when I change from winters to summers , otherwise it’s a big 4ft brush with the remainder of the shampoo in the bucket . I do though occasionally use tyre shine now

a £1 mitt and I can just get my hand between the spokes with it on, always use Tyre shine as the black wheels show the tyres up

So the pads were changed for my normal default low dust ceramic pad that I've got full sets fitted to 3 cars .

This is 5 weeks.

What a difference , the mega dust were Pagid , 9mm left too .
Ceramic pad dust is easily washed away too .

Dust or not they are still filthy

5 weeks filthy and that included those four storms .

I never left the wheels for more than a week with the Pagid , 5 weeks and they would of looked like this , lol .

Bilt Hamber auto wheel is the best stuff I’ve ever used...and I’ve tried a lot !

^^Agreed. I posted a similar thread and Bilt Hamber was recommended. I have never looked back since, it is an excellent cleaner, non-acidic and also removes iron fall-out.

I tried Bilt Hamber, found it to be expensive, smelly and wasn't better than Bilberry. We all like different.

+1, have used this for a number of years now. Comes in 5L too :)

Does it also remove iron fallout? Can't see it in the specs

Just pressed the GO button after extensive research and got some Auto finesse Imperial wheel cleaner , 5L delivered for £25 .
It’s acid free and can dilute as low as 20:1 :D (making 20 million Litres ?)

For iron fallout I have used Auto Finesse wheel cleaner. Its good, does the job but its not cheap for the quantity.
For general dirt shifting, Demon Shine Rapid Dirt Shifter is excellent VFM. Around £4 50 a litre at BM Stores. (£8 60 in Halfrauds)

I'm using McGuires. By the standards of this thread, it's an extravagant waste of money. But we use so little of it. I really can't remember when/where I bought it or how much it cost. I clean my car incessantly, including the wheels but the spray still seems mostly full. I'd have to live another century to use up 5 litres diluted at 20:1.

Am I alone in liking the Bilt hamber smell?

I don't dislike it at all, but I do like the product so I don't really care what it smells like :)

I agree it has a strong smell but it doesn't really bother me. It's not repulsive and as said does a great job.
