As title, having lifted the carpet I can't see any connectors in the length of the floorpan, only the earth connections to the body up at the front.

2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
There are connectors up the very front, the wake up green/white is wake up and brown/red CAN the connectors are about 2½" long. If the car was very early 2002 there may not be connectors, and the wires all soldered together. The car may have had a flood before from the heater box, and someone removed them and soldered together.

The green white connector stop at the front in the end. (Wake up)
the Brown/red and brown also stop there. (CAN H & L)
The Brown/Black and Brown are the CAN wires that go to the connector in the rear behind the drivers seat.

Open the box behind drivers seat, remove the panel in the bottom and take a look in there, The rear SAM and all electrics are in that box, the front of the box pulls off from the top, just locating pegs in the bottom.
