Typical, take the car to MB for a health check and it comes back broken?

What's with the yellow/orange display people?

We concluded the obvious in that previous case - an internal fault in the cluster.
If you look at the display from oblique angles you will see the yellow is far less pronounced, and the display appears more normal.

The guy who owned the car did not want to pay for a new cluster, understandably, and was convinced it was because his service interval had been exceeded - which was clearly not the case.
He later reported that it had 'fixed itself' and gone back to normal, that was shortly before I left that job to start the 'Alex Crow' empire, so no idea of the long term situation.

I would suggest a phone call to ACTronics if the symptoms persist.

In case anyone else has this situation the problem seems to have corrected itself.

It is nice that many faults can be a one off, they then go away never to be seen again, rather nice in a way once you get used to it

That was the same with the other one, I am sure you will let us know it the situation changes.
