Windscreen cover on insurance? Damage from inside

The camera calibration if required is easily done (it is a multifunction camera covering various things) by the dealer (pricey!) or an Indie with STAR and the headlight alignment target. STAR tells them exactly where to position the target and then they seem to puch a button, and done!

who can do this for me? please say you? obviously moneys would be involved

What if a 'foreign' object hit the inside of the windscreen through an open side window?

hahahaha the forein object (or girl) hit it from the inside, then it should have been the forein object being thrown out the side window.

Why worry? I'm sure Autoglass won't have too many problems fitting it ..... it's what they do.

Yea, but im worried about the rain and light sensors not working after.

that is the pricey part!

At worst it'll just need setting up ...... you won't need a new one

You could look on Yell.con for an indie local to you. As said, it's pricey at the dealer as they charge you for 45 minutes time, most of which is taken in getting the equipment out of the case and setting it up!

Windscreen done, bloke said he's done loads of C classes and never had a call back. He said it's usually the BMW's that need the re calibration.

Will test on drive home

Balls, tbink I need the cameras done.

Automatic full beam does not work, wipers seem to be glitchy.

Headlights unsure yet as its been dark 24.7

Give up on life.

Hoping I can find someone close to BN17 to help me or im going to drive it through my ex's house!

put your full postcode in the the specialist finder and see who is local to you, make sure whoever it is has STAR, ring a few and ask for a quote and tell them you have had a new windscreen fitted any good one will know exactly what needs doing and how long it will take.
