Automatic full beam does not work, wipers seem to be glitchy.

Headlights unsure yet as its been dark 24.7

Give up on life.

Hoping I can find someone close to BN17 to help me or im going to drive it through my ex's house!

Are you getting a message about needing to calibrating the camera?

It's not a difficult job for the right person with STAR and STAR tells them how and where to set the target so once done its then just select "calibrate" and 2 minutes later done!

If you were ever Kent bound I could recommend someone for you based in Rochester who did mine?

I have not received a message saying it needs it, automatic full beam doesn't work, the auto wipers are not as sensitive and I haven't tested auto headlights yet as the weather had been dark when driving to and from work.

I'm located on the south Coast (West Sussex)

90% of new screens require the auto wipers to be reset on STAR, otherwise they are not good with a mind of their own. The camera is on its own, and this does not connect with the screen. The ones that fitted the screen should have done this as part of the claim.

It's worth taking the camera out and making sure the screen is clean on the inside there as well as the lens. I was told that this is now at some point in the service schedule for C Classes but don't know if that's true.

Very, but he will need the old night vision camera target and stand. I think when you are in STAR it shows what it looks like and where it needs positioning (see image in next post)

She was drunk, freaked out in the car and started kicking the crap out of the dash and windscreen :?
Through my mind when visions of the screen getting kicked completely out, and possibly airbag going off?
In a split second i had slammed on the brakes, undone her belt,opened her door and pushed her out.. Drove off, never to see her agin.. im not putting up with that sort of behaviour..
Luckily the screen didnt break.. wow can it take a beating !
If your screens covered for criminal damage then a claim is certainly legit !

But well done to you - and you can adopt a holier than thou attitude and cock a snook (okay - oldey wordey English, no further smutty inference!) at all those "gymnastic" jibes etc.

On a serious note, I'm glad you've had it done before the winter really sets in (if it is coming at all?) because if you had even a minor shunt, the other driver could try to blame it on your visibility/lack of.

Everything seems to be working, just not as efficient as it was!

However as most of you know how it got smashed the first time it would seem i now require a new side window, windscreen (again) and 2 new windscreen arms.

Yea yea yea it was the ex again.

Also aload of stone chips where she threw the stones.
