Washed it and applied another coat of Sonax, polished the glass with AG Car Glass Polish.

I had a problem with the rear valance as it looked faded, applied loads of different "back to black" to it without success, put "Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tyre Protection Gel" and hey presto all black!!!!

Got some things to sort:

I think there is a coolant leak

The Right rear light cluster is dimmer than the left and flickers slightly

Front left parking lamp has gone

Reversing LED lamps are hit and miss

New rear parking sensor didn't fix the problem so need to order another one

Fixed folding mirror on the passenger side of the bus.
Found loose heatshield between rear silencer and fuel tank. Needs a couple of press on clips and a big penny washer to sort it.

Adjusted the NSF wheel bearing as i was getting some vibes through the pedals when driving.

Vibes now gone but it took almost half a turn on the clamping nut to eliminate the play, which i thought was a little excessive.

Waiting on a return e-mail regarding a replacement front wheel as i have a dent in the original thanks to our fantastic roads.

Just given the battery a 24hr boost. Haven't used it for a few days and with the Beast from the East promising us some significant snow Thursday I want a fully charged battery.

Had the following report from @Welwyn Merx for the 215:

Oil cooler seals leaking.
OSF balljoint dying
Fr discs and pads shot (only did 11k!!!!!!)
NSF balljoint dying
AC condenser dead
NSR ABC strut TOTALLY EXPLODED
NSR brake flex line contaminated.

So. After much pooing of pants and crunching numbers I had another call back. Phil @Welwyn Merx has some very good news for us ABC owners, he now has rebuild capability for all S, CL & SL struts. Cost is significantly reduced over new (now running at £1100/ea). Needless to say I’m taking advantage of this very well timed offer!

Will update on progress as things progress...

For a future tip. GTechniq C4 (or C1/C5 as they are all the same product) will return it to black and will last 18mths - 2yrs. I'll dig out the pic I did of mine (I did post it way back in this thread somewhere).

There you go. Left side treated and right side not. (I miss that car! :( )

My local VAG guy can also rebuild ABC struts (I'm slowly converting him to the MB side)... I'd be interested to know what Phil charges.

Replaced the OS position bulb, as it started flickering two days ago - so that's eight months only for this one ... at least I'm getting so adept at changing these, it only takes me a couple of minutes now.

A few more years and I should have 10-inch fingers with suction cup tips ...

Oh, and I also had to remove the [sliding out] coin box (which replaced the phone console, when I upgraded the head unit), to retrieve a microSD card case, after it decided to go on safari inside the armrest ;) I might have to think about modifying the back of the coin box, to prevent this happening again in the future.

Ordered a replacement locking wheel nut and replaced a couple of bulbs. Had the car 30 hours and allready fixed all bar 1 faults :)
Now you just need to buy 4 non-locking wheel nuts and ditch the ones you already have... and some bolt caps to stop them all going rusty!

To be honest i've not looked for a while. Was that for 15 or 25ml? For just trim you'll only need 15ml.
