Shows just how good a F1 Car survival cell is for Ericsson to walk away from that unscathed.

That and when the harvesting unit goes AWOL giving a total rear lock-up... not a happy place to be!

That was another good result for Ham as a result of a Vet mistake. Totally against what was expected and I do hope it doesn’t make Mercedes think they have the upper hand. They clearly don’t have the fastest car any more but are stringing the results together (with a little Lady Luck).

Ham is definitely icoping with the pressure better than Vet that’s for sure. 30 point gap is nice. But still 175 to play for. So it is far from over and if Vet can stop the mistakes then he should still take the title. Although I am still hoping Ham does.

Singapore should be a given for Ferrari in a couple of weeks. But it should have been last year too as should Monza.

Vercrashem showed his immaturity today with his comment to the team about not caring he was losing time to Vettel. But he will be a star of the future I’m sure.

Verstappen deserved to lose 4th place with that attitude. He may be fast and a good defender on track but he simply cannot take it when someone is about to overtake him. If he gets his race craft right, he will win championships. If not, he won't.

Great race but I find it strange in this era of cars supposedly not able to follow each other closely that Lewis managed to stay within 1.3 seconds of Kimi right up to the pit stops. What changed?

Pat Fry is going back to McLaren after 8 years at Ferrari, that may well help them massively

They need some straight-line speed and increased reluability as well. Alonso was one of the quickest drivers in F1.

Agreed re Alonso. I know he prob didn't help himself at times but reckon he deserved at least one more title!

There maybe a space if Vetel doesn't take the championship back to Ferrari. Or maybe not, who knows?

I think every driver wants to drive the red car in their career. In 2020 (or 21?) when the regs change, who knows who will be on top.
