Yes I know that really, I suppose its back to Ebay and more scanning, it will only be the boot badge so maybe MB :D

Were they all badged in 1998? My Car is an N reg and has no badge - keep em guessing I say! Also less chance of corrosion at extra points of boot.

Presuemably it will be a Red V5 with the car, though I have yet to get one for my Merc. The Toy V5 in rouge did arrive today.

Shouldn't show you this one Malcolm but if you had wanted a Right Hon's car the colour scheme is right up my street. though mileage etc, maybe not. If I didn't take a car full of toot to France every so often I might be tempted.

I saw that one Stuart,,, I could not decide on how much the extra 50k miles was worth, the car will have to stand out so silver was the better option, I do love the inside of that one, very nice colour

Thank you for the photo's ,a lot off car for the money. A chap near me bought one four years ago for silly money when he retired, spent a £1000 on it, done 46000 miles in it since, he kept traveling in it and uses it as his daily car. Only money he has spent since is two sets of tyres, replacing brakes pads disc, rear brake pipes and nomal serviceing, and still worth what he paid for it. Hope this helps

Thank you,,,I have just found the options list on it and quite a lot more than I thought, they do hold their age well, very sleek in my eyes

Hi Malcolm, glad to see that you have joined the W140 club, and got the same car as Mic. I still prefer my V12 but whichever model in the range they are a lovely drive. When will Mercedes Benz ever make such a good car again and move away from all the stupid gadgets and overly complex systems.

Yes I am looking forward to getting it home now, yes they are complicated cars but the quality of the electrics is much more suited to car use.

The one I have bought has 600 badges, will that do  If I lived on my own then probably the real thing, I see that the 600's make very good money still

It is because you can buy the badges on Ebay ;)

I've not heard of the term - Parameter steering (speed sensitive) - gonna have to look that one up!

Is this on all post '98 MB's ?

I am not sure on if it has that Stuart,,, ´though it does seem to have everything,,lots of extras,,I am still learning WIS for this model off by heart, dont forget that this range of cars were the most sophisticated cars ever built for their time, and this caused an outrage in germany
