Now the number on my SL is M500SLW I can buy M400CLW for £250 then the 2 cars will look matching in a way.

So I cant have 420 on the boot though I could put CL400

I am not sure on if it has that Stuart,,, ´though it does seem to have everything,,lots of extras,,I am still learning WIS for this model off by heart, dont forget that this range of cars were the most sophisticated cars ever built for their time, and this caused an outrage in germany

Its mentioned in your cars spec list on Pistonheads. Maybe an optional extra. Can't believe that development of the W140 started a far back as 1981.

I've not heard of the term - Parameter steering (speed sensitive) - gonna have to look that one up!

Is this on all post '98 MB's ?

Just been checking and yes it is on the car I would have liked to have been prepared with the fuses, I do not know if the fuse chart is in the car, but nothing in WIS for this, if it is not in the car perhaps some kind member would photo copy theirs for me.

My first job will be the central locking and soft closure, 2 separate systems and PSE pumps

Interesting in that the paint is a lot thicker all over that my 230 and equal to the V70R

Not exactly hard, the new paint is very very thin. Not on my car as its been resprayed once before I got it, and both sides this year by me and insurance co.

Dosco - re pano roofs, they take about half an inch off, and my seat is on the lowest setting (they never go low enough these days as all the electric gubins take up room) and I've got enough headroom (fist and a half, I wouldn't want any less).
