list of recomended indys

i read on here quite a lot of new owners comming on here asking best place to take cars in areas all over the uk.
if a list was started here is my recomendation.
TEC automotive northfleet kent,
drooped my car in yesterday for an A service an hour later got the dreaded call on my mobile.
small problem a sensor at the top of the engine had packed up and a air inlet tube was blocked.
rushed back and the guy pointed out on the computer what the problem was, and i gave the ok to fix it.
the bill at the end of the day came in at a lot lower than i expected as they gave me a reduction on my servicing cost ( which made the wife very happy).
never know a garage to do this i know i might look a little shabby and hard up but did they take pity on me.

A list of indis always seems to start an argument, on the other forum they all have to pretend there's only two indis on earth, one in preston and one in portsmouth.

Luckily on this forum quite a few indis post, and people are are free to mention where they've had good service, a quick forum search reveals good indis close to home.

Nope it will just fizzle out like all the rest.

We did have a good list at one time, sadly we had a mod some years back who was very biased and not very honest, he took the list down. It would be very wrong to say that a list causes problems, we have been promised a lit back again but nothing has ever come of it.
