Im planning on trying Class Cars are they any good in your opinion?

They did the ATF/filter change on my w203, and I was happy with price and service. I've seen good reports of them from at least a couple of other members on here.

For the South East, Star Motors in Reading have been very impressive. Done a lot to my 126 and it drives like a dream now. Nice to know there still someone who knows the old cars so well. They do all the newer ones mostly though I think.

I used them for my W220 S-Class and will be doing so for my R230 SL-Class if/when that breaks.

Definitely recommend them, back street type place but they definitely know their stuff and have always been helpful.

I have been working for a number of months now on a new online Specialist Directory, which we hope will go live soon, this site will be available on the forum.

This will be a valuable resource of Specialists across the UK and ROW, which you can search with your postcode for nearest, Indi, and many other mercedes specialists whilst also showing international companies for Parts etc.

I have seen the first template and its looking good, so hopefully the forum will value this new addition, as this can be updated to provide all members the most upto date directory of specialists in the UK and the ROW.

Hi Steve,

I knew it would not take long before someone asked!

As per normal with our Specialist Directory, a basic entry is listed FOC, but we do have an enhanced option, Allowing for more contact details, editorial info, MBO offers, video, links, testimonials etc.

Not going to brake the bank though to "Enhance" the entry.

Once I have it available as a demo I will show you in more detail.

As Mark posted above, entries will be free, enhancements can be added for a small fee.

As I understand it, users will be able to rate the Specialists and services using as star system.

So can you ask Mark to enlighten the forum as to where the recomendations are coming from .Are they fully qualified mechanics or backstreet diyers etc etc
