Since fitting 4 new tyres last year I've had slow leak issues. Once a month or every 2 months I take it to the local tyre place who charge £10 per wheel to reseal them.
On a recent visit he showed me small crack about an inch on the inside of one of the rims.He also showed me the cause of the leaks which was worn rim.
Since my car is old and rusting away I don't want to spend too much. My mileage is low and mostly local journeys. The options I can t hink of are,
1-New steel ones.
2-Used steel or alloy.
3-Refurbish.
4-A set from the scrap yard.
The car is a 2000 E320.
What would you guys recommend?
Thanks.
