Just fixed broken door opening mechanism in the wife's A150 and feeling lucky. Can you send me the instructions for repairing that chattering/jumping/dysfunctional lock problem? It's directions(AT)dsl.pipex.com

Given the prevalence of this - was there a point at which MB sorted it out or does it still happen with new models?

It is a spring that breaks on these and MB must have improved the thing as later car do not seem tom have this problem, unless it is a time thing

I only have the front doors printed off at this point in time, I have sent this info and it should give you an idea of what is involved.

If you are really stuck I will print off the rear door info as soon as possible
