And it is a big BUT...
Having tried Autoglym many years ago and tried most of their new products as they came onto the market I was never overly impressed with them. I know some people swear by them and that's fine by me.
I recently bought a bottle of Ultra Deep Shine after reading the guff on the back of the bottle which says it's excellent for dark colours, sadly I was left wondering why I bother as the finish was not what I expected and really disappointing IMO
However having read some good reports on Autoglym High Definition Wax I once again spent some of my hard earned cash on yet another of the companies products.
Well it seems that they have eventually produced a good product, I won't go as far as to say the HD is 'great' just yet as I don't how durable it is, but first impressions have made me think that Autoglym have at last managed to get their act together.
The S-Class was washed and dried then cleaned with a Meguiars wax cleanser, then polished with my favourite Grade A polish before applying the Autoglym HD. Easy to go on, easy to take off and it really does give the paintwork an extra shine
The bonnet was polished with Anchem Anglewax which I bought last month and really wanted to try out. This wax really is the dogs danglies, easy on easy off and the results are superb. Today I drove 70 miles of which around 20 were in heavy rain and the beading as I moved off from the traffic lights was amazing, the droplets moved from the front of the bonnet towards the windscreen growing in size as they all merged together. If I only have a video with me.
This is the car after 70 miles of which 20 were very wet
