I have watched the media storm unfold over his evidence to the select committee with increasing incredulity. What is reported is such a distortion of what he said, usually with a sharply edited video that clearly misrepresents his evidence. I defy anyone who watched the entire exchange to come up with the same outcome. It was entirely obvious that he was disagreeing with the Iranians finding teaching journalism to be a crime. The real problem is the woman at the heart of this story has become a pawn in the get Boris campaign. Boris is to "Marmite" for many I understand that and his pro-Brexit stance puts him up against the whining media generally. Clearly Boris speaks on a higher plain than many and he hasn't lowered his thinking to cope with the general public. The me-edia will probably get a Labour Government to wax over next which should be less taxing for their intellect.
