Have come to the conclusion most insurance companies are useless Neil. They rest safe in the knowledge that we'll end up footing the bill one way or another, so what's the incentive for them to do their job?

As for getting nabbed via your own footage, I believe several people have already been prosecuted courtesy of their YouTube videos!

My GF was a TV editor and has told me that you can cut and edit at will so what you choose to forward is down to you!
AXA as much as admitted how inept they were with this one. Can you spot who did it?!
Apparently it would be too hard to ID the company and driver (pictured). Police were uninterested despite the poor sod in the middle vehicle being off work for 3weeks injured. I was stationary at the lights btw!!

i am keen to get a decent quality cam, preferably with a 2nd cam input for the rear. Can anyone suggest any? there seems to be lots and lots of choice.

Motoring section of today's Telegraph shows 4, rates the Mio MiVue 538 Deluxe at £150 as best buy, RAC 02 at £149 second (yet says picture quality is the worst of the 4 and too dark at night!), does not like the Garmin 20 and the Cobra CDR-900.

Used to have a C63...
I'd be tempted with the Mio or Blackvue if I were to do it all again. The Snooper I have isn't bad, but reckon there's better out there.

The Dashcam talk forum has all sorts of reviews. I would trust that more than the telegraph limited review tbh but each to their own . I use the mobius , about the size of a packet of tic tac for rear and the Panorama for front facing ... I never saw a decent review for anything which did both but they are there of course. .

I think the rear view camera one looks a bit unwieldy and distracting.
I've read loads of reviews but not seen your forum sadly.

I think that Blackvue has pretty much all the whistles and bells if you get the right one

The forum I use is here : https://forum.dashcamtalk.com/ good interactions from some of the vendors on it to buyers requests for features especially the Panorama.

.
I have a BlackVue DR400G-II as a front one (for three years now), and more recently added a Mini-0801 as a rear cam (with a modified mount - not enough space between the sunblind and the glass for its standard mount). Very happy with the whole setup, and like others above, took some good advice from DashCamTalk forum.
