Step 1 - Locate the air filter at the front of the engine bay

Step 2 - Undo the spring clip holding the air box to the inlet pipework

Step 3 - You will find several clips around the air box, simply pull the lower half up and fold the upper half out of the way to release the air box

Step 4 - Repeat for all the clips on the air box

Step 5 - Unclip the hose from the air box, this is flexible and pops out easily

Step 6 - Release the bottom clip from the intake hose (as in step 2)

Step 7 - You can now wriggle the air box clear of the engine bay, be gentle, there shouldn't be much/any resistance

Step 8 - You can now see your (filthy) air filter, simply pull this out

Step 9 - Give the pre-filter side a clean of any leaves/dirt, just wipe with a cloth or similar

Step 10 - Grab yourself a nice new air filter (note the two heights of the filter fins) and lay it in the airbox. Squeeze the edges down so it is well seated

Step 11 - Drop the air box back in, sliding the pipework together first

Step 12 - Note if you want a bit more room, you can depress the tab by the hydraulic rams for the bonnet and allow the bonnet to sit vertically as shown

Step 13 - Refit the clips on the air box

Step 14 - Refit the clips on the induction piping
