Right all picked up and over the moon with the car and performance of the vehicle. However I have couple of questions which I hope someone can answer?
Can I play my music through the Bluetooth from my phone? And if so how?
Also I have a dial inside the ashtray I have no idea what it is for?
And does it have a multi disc changer?
And can it play dvds?
Many thanks the car hasn’t come with any owners books etc. :)

Depends on original spec as multi disc changer was an option and you will need Comand rather than Audio 20 to play DVDs

If you have Comand for audio and sat nav, a firmware update enables BT music streaming.

Contact Comand On Line with your VIN and they can tell you more (well, everything really. .....)

Glad you're happy

PS they may know what the phaser beam Roger refers to is actually for, or even have a manual for it. !;)

How do I know if I have comand for audio? It has sat nav thanks for your help.

I have comand APS with DVD changer according to the Mercedes data base, god knows where the changer is then. I think this could of been removed.

Put up a photo, though contacting CoL will be the definitive solution
They can advise what is possible and can of course do it (plus, apparently, some of the impossible)

And they are only an hour or so away from you / us if you chose to get some of it done (I had my maps updated there earlier this year)

Do let us know what the phaser dial thingy is when you find out though.......

If it’s like mine was, the CD changer is built in - so you just keep feeding the CDs through the slot.

Comand APS is Comand for audio and SatNav so, it seems, there may be a firmware upgrade for BT audio streaming. As has been said, the guys from Comand Online at Lightwater are the ones to ask. I’m popping in there this week for them to professionally fit my DashCam.

On the question of Manuals, download the “Mercedes Guides” app (iOS and presumably Android) and the E Class Estate is available back to 2013. This is the facelift but some of the detail will be the same as yours.

Yes as far as I’m aware, nothing happens when I turn it. I’m going out shopping with the Mrs in a bit so I’ll have a play around sat in the car whilst she shops as soon as I find out what it’s for I’ll let you guys know :)
