Keeps it looking factory fresh and completely matte.


All you are doing is getting the grease etc. off the top coat, that is the stuff that shines.

It will keep it looking matte for another year or two, as long as you give it an occasional wipe down with a dam cloth.


I am not a huge fan of the Liquid Leather myself, I don't mind the cleaner, it works quite well, but find it keeps looking matte longer if you don't use the conditioner.

I do like Furniture Clinics cleaners.
Their alcohol cleaner is amazing, but to be used sparingly and only once or twice at most, and their Ultra Clean is great for regular updates.

I have a scuff on the drivers seat bolster and a couple of stitches out.
My local car leather seat experts said it's not worth doing, suspect that reads , ' can't be bothered ' but I'm sure I can improve it myself and therefore the kit will pay for itself first use!

The furniture clinic stuff is good, its not like paint that can fall off or craze, its almost like a liquid plastic, and you cannot see where you stop and start.

I bought a kit couple of yrs ago , you got about 5 colours ( little bottles ) it took ages to mix up the exact colour using lollipop stick , but once I got it right it was dabbed on with a little sponge then when dry was clear coated over and done a great job and was still fine after a yr when clk went .
It was just a furniture touch up kit. Was well pleased.

When you send off a sample, they will match it and supply a white bottle and a black one, this really works and the exact shade can be got..

I love the furniture clinic paint kits, I did my old 2.8 Z3 with it, the seats were really hard and cracked, took me around 5 hours from start to finish and that was taking the seats out.

Doing that and then getting Jack at Royles to retrim the steering wheel transformed a 18 year old interior....

However, on a Merc I think I would use this stuff....
