Well, over the years we have relied on USA to swap intelligence etc The disgraceful way information has been leaked to the US press in direct opposition to the request of the UK police calls a heck of a lot of things into question. It has been suggested that it was the law and order division rather than government who are responsible for the leaks.
- Nevertheless, I sincerely hope May will bend Trump's ear enough to send him back intent on dealing with people firmly.
- Remember:
At the time of 9/11 when Blair went to USA the President (George "dubya" Bush) said "we have no greater friend than UK".
- Funny way to treat your best friend isn't it?
Update from Reuters:

- UK police stop sharing information on Manchester attack with U.S. after leaks
Very hard to comprehend how anyone in their right mind can do such things.
I see that according to the BeeB, Trump has condemned leaks of the investigation into the Manchester Arena attack to American media as "deeply troubling". They were a "grave threat to our national security", he added, and pledged to get to the bottom of it.
So we shall see...

Trump has been complaining about leaks for a long time maybe he has a point.
Why the "newspaper" thought giving the terrorists a heads up on intelligence defies credulity.
My wife works for a muslim girl's school. They were out in the centre of Cov on a trip yesterday and got grief from some people.
Now I'm not surprised at this, however you can no more blame these girls for Monday's events than you can blame your local CofE church for those nutters in Westboro Baptists.
It's sad too as the school does a lot of good work to help the local community, which is quite a deprived area, but all their good work can get undone by one piece of filth.
