I'm new to the forum and wonder if you could help with a question.
I've recently purchased a 2015 E220 estate. The only concern is the ECO symbol glows yellow and not green and is not performingoing the Stop Start function. The car is up to temperature and otherwise is running normally.

Eco stop/start can be fickle especially in the colder weather - check you auxiliary battery too which is in the boot, the function relies on this and strains that battery. Mine had to be changed at 3 years on my last 212

I've just bought a 350 CGI but really given it a good run yet as it needs a bit of work - some might say "a bit" is an understatement :/ lol

I have a Mercedes a class a180 2014 W176 and I have been told I need a sensor mat for the passenger seat as there is a light advising front left passenger malfunction which means it isn't recognizing there is someone sat there.

I have been struggling to source this specific part privately and mercedes dealership are advising they will supply and fit the part which is underneath the seat cover but will cost £400?!

Please can you give me any alternate suggestions or ideas

Why not buy a genuine seat occupancy sensor from MB Newcastle, and get an independant Mercedes workshop to fit it.

He’s an A-Class specialist. I’m sure he could do it much cheaper.
