I am a bit surprised that the plastic is not self coloured rather than coated to be honest. Perhaps I am living in the past :rolleyes:
FAR too expensive...

Before I replaced my steering wheel (the outer leather skin started peeling off) I tried one of the many kits you can find quite cheap on the Bay. They include little high-density sponge pieces and black die. I've used the "inky" lacquer to cover a couple of spots on the seat squab and can't see them any more.

It's very annoying when you find something out the hard way - so good luck with a fix!
Thanks. Yes, going to try a Gliptone touch-up first (I have that already - just didn't know it can be used on plastic / vinyl), and if no joy - the other, as John suggested.
