to be fair I was a little concerned about the we will check if you were covered as I wouldn't have bought the car if i wasn't, also I checked with the warranty company when I transferred it and they confirmed I was but still a tad nervous....
Get told what I said and that I will get a call back later today and I don't hear anything for a few hours then told he's left for the day and he's not in tomorrow
AFAIK given the age of the car and T1 warranty, it's exactly the same as if you were the first owner - it it needs a radiator (other than something caused by damage), then they replace the radiator and complete the claim form - no rocket science involved. And that's a small bonus for you i.e.: it's been identified as a problem to be fixed now - otherwise it could have been a number of months before the next scheduled service .Update, a little nervous as had a call from the manager checking if the warranty can cover the work as its only just transferred into my name! Slightly nervous as the car needs a new radiator as well as the suspension work.
