No point in having it if you never start it. My complaint is that there's no need to have start/stop other than to fudge an emmisions test, it will wear the engine faster (irrespective if that's an issue or not and it certainly won't be an issue to the first (likely) PCP owner nor the second or likely third but eventually someone will foot the bill.By your logic you should never start your car as it will be wearing it out.
