As my earlier post, I live in blissful ignorance of the workings of the 48v system on my CLS! {And I didn't know I had a 12v battery as well - or do I?] I have never seen the 48v battery, it is hidden under a bolted down cover in the bottom of the boot - the only reason I know it is there is that there was a recall over the securing of the battery and the service tech told me that they had added some extra bracing/stiffening to it. The electricals on this car have never given me the slightest issues.Well the 70 Amphr battery needed over a 6 hour charge with a 7.0 Amp charger it’s not just the tyre pressures most of these car outlets ‘forget’ to check before vehicles leave their premises ‘if it starts push it our the door’. With my low mileage I’m pretty sure this is going to be a regular occurrence (certainly more often than the 212 probably due to an off duty heavier load) I might consider fitting a battery condition monitor
Don't worry about it!
