I'd rather put the £180+ towards a remap which I absolutely know will improve throttle response and power than some device with minimal technical information (at least they don't use pseudo science like some) that pretends to make the car quicker. I can't see any value for money in it compared to a remap.

Incidentally YouTube reviews are packed with influencers who have been paid to give positive reviews. Take them with a pinch of salt. Pardon my cynicism but that's the modern marketing way.

It was designed to do something , to solve a problem and they succeeded .
We agree on something...In that it was designed to solve a problem.

The problem was a lack of funds in the companies account...

It is 100% snake oil.

As posted above all it can do is decrease the time from zero throttle to full. It can’t anticipate you pressing the throttle (unless it winds the idle speed up). So all it does is give more throttle request for less pedal movement.

Blobcat , come drive the car , you wouldn't want it without !

Not all remaps address this even some expensive ones .

It's some individual coding but this will only give you then one setting whereas SB will give you 23 settings that includes stock , 3 valet modes
( power reduction up to 75% ) and an extra layer of security with a pedal lock .

Plus you can detach the controller , not that it's big , and it remain in chosen mode .

So for sub £200 .

It actually made more of a difference than the remap , first quarter of pedal travel is transformed , had a cruising light pedal dead area where it didn't do anything and when it did it wasn't sure what gear to select , now it's positive .

Torque earlier means even when in E around town it can easily take a lower rpm gear change made by me than before .

I'm not on this Earth to tell porkies , just say as it is .

SB valet mode .

The copiers..

It's the ignorance I'm battling especially here and I'm sure it's prevented many from actually buying and benefiting from a great product that is more noticeable than a remap , and cheaper.

It's a crying shame to be denied of a benefit especially when it involves safety .

Keep telling yourself that and please keep taking the tablets.

You can (if you widen your search parameters) find many less agreeable reviews than you have posted.

You’re now implying that your car was unsafe until you fitted it???

Mercedes legal team might have something to say about that claim should you wish to make it...

Is that the same one you made reference to in reply #25 that doesn’t fit?

Also what is the “modulation” you are making reference to?

It's not ignorance, it's experience gained over many years and often the hard way.

So far you've referred to people who disagree with you as bigoted, ignorant and daft as a brush.
Not a great way to have a discussion.

You just have this overwhelming positive review of the product and like products that have sold in huge numbers on social media and forums and then you have these few nay sayers.

It's madness and clearly wrong , the majority are correct and that's why we have democracy .

Yep democracy. You say it's good. BC and I agree it's snake oil. Two against one. Isn't democracy fabulous.

Do you acknowledge that there are also reviews that are not positive?

You’ll tell us next that fitting this device doesn’t require telling your insurance company of the changes

Should say that I had a sprint booster, needless to say I am in the minority, did nothing for me and the Volvo I had previously.
