Hi guys i have lamp defective warning on my car, and it is because one of the side lights is receiving about half the voltage and is not as bright as the other one. I have figured out that is a resistor problem. I buzzed out each of my lights and figure out what pins need to be used. On the light that is receiving half the voltage it did not buzz. The one that works seems to give me a reading of approximately 2.5Ohms (could be higher), what kind of resistor do I need, i.e. power rating and type? I assume it will need to be fairly high wattage.
Something like this perhaps?
