FINALLY managed to colour match the sidelights.

Osram Cool Blue Intense.

That’s what I’ve rnded up with. Not the Osram option, I tried that and no good. These are some weird Japanese brand but they do the trick.

Today was my A Service on the 55, unfortunately it had to be cancelled as the technician called in sick so decided to buy a new battery instead. I got tired of having no heating for 3 miles at zero degrees



Just have to find time to fit it

Time, and a very small crane to winch the damn thing out of the rear fender! Those things are awkward to maneuvre out!

Easy on a 230 as they sit inboard of the chassis rails (unlike a 129)....

Which ones were they? The cool blue intense h7’s are in my head lights and i went to the blue intense sides but not as close a match as i was hoping. Was ivk of the LED’s melting

Yes like LK says, fairly easy on the R230, it's all fitted and running with instant heat and roof working within seconds Craig. No more freezing my b*^%"ks off at 2am waiting for the battery to charge itself up
Then proceeded to hoover both SL's and wash the outsides. Bit chilly but filled the bucket with hot water so hands stayed nice and warm

Gag. On the 215 it’s crammed into the rear fender right above the rear nearside wheel. There’s about 1.5” of headroom to lift the battery up and swing it out, while knacking yer wrists on the rollform edge...
