Oh I fully reconditioned it sland popped it back in to make sure it was locked up!
Managed to lock myself out of the boot. I am hopeful new aux belt sorts out the major issues. Then I think some Bluetooth audio upgrade is needed
I've got a "thingy" under the centre armrest that does Bluetooth phone calls. I forget what it's called but I'll be going out today so will find out for you.

For those of us that have generic car covers where the wheel straps aren't quite in the right place I can recommend these.
We had very strong winds last night and they stayed in place.
Use two bungee cords together round a wheel spoke and then clamp up with the other bits to a folded over piece of the cover.

Also I used a clamp at the end of the strap that goes under the car to enable me to throw it under the car and reach the other side! ;)

Not today, but Saturday. A good wash and detail on the 207. Roof cleaned too. Used Milton Tablet diluted on the roof following comments from forum members re getting rid of minor green algae. Worked a treat, good advice! Reproof over summer. Would have done it but only had small amout of reproofer left so will get some more. Annual service carried out. Slightly overdue by 2 months this year but only done 2k miles since last service so I think we'll pass muster! Noticed some minor corrosion on rear wheels under the paint so likely refurb in due course but they still look good. They've done well considering I had them done when I bought it over 6 years ago. New starter holding up well!

It's a Viseeo adaptor.
It works well in mine but I have no idea of costs etc.
there are different models to fit in the existing handset cradles.

Chased the insurance company about the insurance claim and NCB from last year, seems the light damage to my S211 door, wing, bumper and rim caused over £17k of damage to the Q5 that hit me. Wish I had dashcam footage to post of the Q5 going sideways uphill across my front bumper!
Went for a beer collection and enjoyed the clean interior. Back to work tomorrow. :(

I Fancied a CLK, bought an SL350
Replaced rear brake pads but alas the discs are not healthy....
Jacked up via the rubber point but it wasn't obvious where to site the axle stand....
Should I have supported elsewhere or performed different process?

After finishing my latest building project gave the estate interior a good clean it deserves it, it’s surprising how with a bit of care and using cargo covers the interior can be kept as good as new. Now to clean and stow all the tools I used bit of a pain but has to be done

Have you not got a jack with the car ? I use that and also a trolley jack once it's in the air .

Yes, got the OEM wind up post like thingy that slots in the sill hole, but out of habit use my trolley jack instead. The way I did today held the wheel 3mm off the ground

What did you replace ?
Hi, only the pads and one wear indicator, cleaned all external areas, slide pins, regreased, G clamped used to push pistons back.... wondering if this was a mistake or just unlucky and the pistons are tired with corrosion !?
