Spent most of yesterday playing with the Smart top surprised my ancillary battery is not flat, at last no more Eco stop start as it's disabled on start up now, probably the most used function!

Feeling broke as SWMBO made me buy a 65" TV yesterday as well as a 450l Fish tank so no more toys for a while, the auto start module will have to wait

Yesterday had a nice drive around the Yorkshire Lancs and Peak District roads with 18 or so other AMGs - plus 1 SL63 we picked up unwittingly on one of the stops, nice 2008 n/a Palladium silver job.....only person I’ve met who had the actual dreaded head bolt issue not long after he got the car. Luckily the 7k bill was covered by warranty - phew

Parked it at Gatwick whilst I'm off to a roads conference in Slovakia

I offered to save the company the flight ticket costs by driving over but they weren't keen on the 40p/mile they'd have to shell out - so Easyjet it is

Gatwick - Vienna - Bratislava - Smolenice and then back next weekend ..... deep joy

No, that was in the snow in Scotland in my car, this was a phone call from my loved one this afternoon to say what she had done with her car while I was asleep. A year ago we had the 500 painted so it was chip/scratch and rust free, today it is virtually a repaint again Mind you it is all a comedy of errors which has caused all the damage in the last 5 months. Might have to wait until all the building alterations and gardening ventures have finished before the car is painted again
