Got it back from the local garage after a thorough check.
No surprises reported. Needs two rear shocks but I was given a new pair of Billys buy the seller.
It has no undertrays fitted which is a pain...eBay here I come.
A set from Mercedes is £426

Noticed a ring of rust on one of the rear discs that wasn’t cleaning itself with normal braking . So making use of the sunshine I took the pads out cleaned and copper slipped them …..we will see if that works .

I changed the brake vacuum pump a couple of weeks ago due to an oil leak.
Replaced rear brake lines due to corrosion. Passed MOT
Rim colour changed from gloss black to shadow chrome. Went with wider 255/35/19 vs 245's sport contact 7 on the front for better rim protection. No issues so far.
Had an A service @MB Colchester yesterday using my own supplied oil/filter courtesy of MBNewcastle ebay.

That looks lovely, I love the facelift AMG alloys.

Interesting to see how you have Distronic, and parking sensors too. They must have changed things at some point as my pre-facelift car has Distronic, but no parking sensors in the bumper, and has them hidden behind instead. I wonder why they changed it...

Lovely job. , Strange though where I live there is a row of fir trees and every time I get the wax or polish out the car becomes a real attraction to small flys , midges etc.

Took advantage of the sunshine to go for a roof down drive, through Kimbolton and Rushden then back home.
Then off to Lidl for man sized baguettes for lunch and for garlic bread tonight.

Lovely job. , Strange though where I live there is a row of fir trees and every time I get the wax or polish out the car becomes a real attraction to small flys , midges etc.

I live near the coast and there are sometimes swarms of these small black bugs/beetles when I park up near the beach. I think the bright white paintwork attracts them

I love the Distronic Plus. It was on my wish list when I was looking for a W221 face-lift S350L, but not many seem to have this feature. It really makes the car for me. The 'AMG Pack' comes with 19" alloys but these 20" ones were an additional option. I think they balance the look better than the 19" version.
