I would agree at 185k but the seat does not display excessive wear. The multi-contour seat side bolsters do not appear to stay inflated on the drivers seat compared to the passenger side.

That's because it has been subjected to 184,000 miles of bottom placement :p

I think this will be fun to remove and inspect for my leaky seat, odds are a bladder or two are past their best before date.

Having looked at the remnants with regard to a repair the verdict is poor quality materials and total lack of lubricant and grease. I assume they all fail the same way the hook breaking that attaches the gunsight to the spring, lasted 13 years so no all bad, £45 to replace
I have one snapped off a 500E on a covered trailer tyre rack, folded back as it went under and snapped on the way back just under the outer ring of the star. (Was not me thankfully.)
They are designed to break relatively easily reducing injuries to peasants and oiks that wander aimlessly in the streets.

Took it to my local garage to get a small leak identified and hopefully fixed
Fingers crossed it's just a pipe come loose or clip that needs tightening, but I'm not normally that lucky!

I've copied this idea from another forum that I use (A Ford Transit Forum) of all things!

I quite look forward to getting the e-mail notifiers that someone has posted something... De-badged their van, polished it, new wheels maybe... even a new air freshener....

Just a bit of fun really....

So, come on...

I have just booked the installation of a Thatcham tracker. That happens this afternoon.
And also booked the installation of a front and rear dash cam and also my Drivesmart Alpha. That will be done on Wednesday.....
