That's 7 miles per gallon less that we get in the SLK
Which means the same journey in our SLK will work out more expensive for us, except, we pull you back in with yearly tax. We win :p
Unless you visit a ULEZ city…;)

Battery flat on tge S211 yesterday after playing with the seats on Tuesday. Oddly, I had just finished cobbling together a jump pack from an Odyssey Extreme battery so back in the workshop for that. Longer trip to the shops and it starts OK so I ordered a new battery from Tanya Batteries.

Hi all

Been wanting to do something about the dreaded tin worm on the old beasty! But it's spreading in places where it was OK before! So I've decided to abandon any idea of doing any bodywork on it and just drive the ****** thing and make sure the old girl is mechanically OK, pity as I love my beasty but il will be a continuing job just like painting the fourth road bridge! ....never ending! Ha!

It's ridiculous, the supply Reservoir is at 69%.

If you are a Blue Badge holder or on Benefits then you can still use your hose!!!
We don’t suffer many bans but we aren’t that densely populated in the Severn Trent area which is just as well because ST water leaks are running at 404 million litres per day

Wife is a badge holder, does that mean I can hire her out for hand car washing in Cornwall, could be a nice little earner?

Tucked her up in her garage with the CTEK for company as we’re hoping to get off on an extended sailing trip this weekend. After recent trips to Cambridge, Plymouth and Hereford and using her for tip runs and garden projects, she deserves a break!

I'll take the overall £215 loss for the huge grin benefit of driving a V6 3.0 petrol - shows how little difference there is though

Sure does. Petrol versus diesel.....Petrol all the time. SLK will be for sale soon, replaced with another R230, might go for the 350 next?? Only if its high miles, no service history and not black or silver.
