Well what a drive over the last couple of days I forgot what a power house that w208 320 sport coupe was like 1st long drives in that for over 2 years
Back from Essex to Devon in 3h50 190 miles
And 25 years old goes like a rocket flying from a standing start
Just 100 miles shy of the 150k mark now

Well day before actually... Took the 207 for its mot. After having the tyres done the other day I thought possibly an advisory or two and always have a lump in my throat at MOT time. Nothing, straight through. Was flattered as the garage commented on the car and that it was a nice well looked after car. He aslo asked what it did to the gallon - I made no comment on that!! Very pleased with the 13 year old girl.

Had the auxiliary pump and related hoses changed this morning.
It was weeping a lot a few weeks back but the use it's getting now seemed to slow down the weeping.
Better safe than sorry though.
Just the nearside front SAM to do now then the niggles will be sorted ( until the rust under the wings tidying, next year I think)

Good job I have a reserve fund :geek:

Maybe it’s how many gallons to the mile in your case ;)

Neighbour crashed into my wall again!!! Narrowly missing the front of my car, she said luckily it didn't hit it. I thought, lucky for you it didn't. I had actually parked it slightly further over than I usually do (not intentionally) so it was lucky.

Yes, very lucky.
Reminds me of when I lived in Yorkshire near a village called Hook which was on the learner driver route out of Goole, there was a very tight 90 degree left hand turn with a garden wall built against it and it would seem a lot of L drivers for some reason couldn’t get the lock off quick enough, it must have been demolished and rebuilt three times over a 10 year period.

This will be the third time she's hit it!

Give her, her due she's consistent, that's why I said perhaps time to call it quits and leave it, I know she's paying, but next time your motor might not be so lucky.

Or the brickwork is preventing her hitting your car…

Just a thought it might be a good idea for her to get something screwed to the drive to alert her when the wheels run up to it certainly much cheaper than having to rebuild a wall several times

Mmmm, looking at the pic, she would have, had to be really far over, to hit the car, without the wall there. o_O
