Sisters together
After the S sitting in a garage for the last 8 months finally back on the road gave it a wash and a bit of a clean inside as there was plenty of mould sports just done a 20 mile run around in it I had forgotten what a great car it is
Parked her up next to her older sister the 3.2 sport CLK

Just need a.detail and a bit of surface rust to sort out but drives like a dream

Next week she will hopefully get the sound amp sorted after water damage to the bits in the boot

Yeah that's out of order, their learning, they might get it wrong :(. I straddle two bays at work, boss can do it coz he got to open his door fully for a bad back. I too now have a bad back and don't feel guilty ;). Never go shopping in a loved one, if you can help it of course.....
Oops I think I should have replied to Malcolm210, sorry

SL350 R230, but I assume they are all similar.
you can see where the weak point of his handle has been epoxied but a new handle from MB Newcastle was only £34

Looks like hot glue rather than epoxy, that is not a good repar!

My S211 only seems to need the lightest pull to release the parking brake, even less if the parking brake pedal is pushed before pulling the release.

Might be that release handle replacement may be an indication the parking brake mechanism needs servicing or lubrication?
