Hopefully an easy question. My 2001 CLK230 Kompressor has 205/55/16 tyres all round. However when purchasing new tyre for the back recently. All the sites I put the registration into suggest the front and rear tyres come in different sizes and the garage I got the tyre off suggested it should have 205/55/16 on the front and 225/50/16 on the rear. This was in fact the case with my previous 1997 CLK but I discovered that car had been fitted with Saiph wheel rims which were manufactured for the later CLK 209 models so that didn't really help. Anybody out there able to guide me on this? Does it make a difference to handling? The following guide is from black circles and nowhere does it suggest 205/55/16 all round
