Bought a pair of Sharks for the micro-Merc.
The old Toyos are a bit tread bare and causing very sudden rear end movements in the wet!
I assume you mean anatomically

Got all 4 tyre valves changed because of a lot of cracking/splitting through age . Now just got to wear the tyres out before changing them as well .

Hmmm ‘exhaust work’ eh? ;)

Opposite of what you think! :)

PO removed the rear silencers completely. Its too loud on the motorway, Fitting 2 small race silencers to knock the edge off :(

I don't want the exhaust noise to be ever present in an S class.

Looked at another E350d, 9g this time, spec was good too... sooooo tempted:oops:
The pariah that is diesel is so frustrating, I know I’m gonna be disappointed without that torque...

You are but it's not as bad as you would fear. I went from diesel to petrol a year ago and I have got used to it now, it's just that the power come higher up the rev range. Not a great deal of difference in the 0-60, if any at all. The bonus comes with the quietness in the cabin. :)

If it helps, I went from diesel to petrol last time round... not noticed a lack of torque. :D

Autocorrect deployed for you there Carl.

Ha, nah I think a 43/53 with a bit of mappery would give me all I need (which really means I have a wife and two growing kids that seem hell bent on eating me out of house and home as well as needing new clothes and shoes every 5 mins!)

The c63 has a secondary decat and is perfect.
The s class isn't loud at all but I can hear the exhaust between 5-45 mph and its quite deep. Fingers crossed it works.

you could always do what I did Alex , remove the pigs tail from the standard rear cans and replace it with a straight piece of stainless baffle , great noise and no drone

Fixed the heater on the micro-Merc... Appears to have somehow developed an airlock.
