EU/GB Number Plates

I was wondering about numberplates that have the EU badge on, will they need to change?
If contemplating new plates, what design should be on them? Especially if one is contemplating diving in Europe?

That is basically the current position after December this year. EU does not recognise country markings on the number plate for cars outside of the EU member states.

I'd wager a lot of money you won't get bothered for having just a euro GB plate on you're car after Brexit in Europe. Many now don't even have anything on the plate/car, in general GB plates are obvious as only NL/some French plates are yellow at the back. The format/numeration of UK plates is also unique..

The hot topic is the emissions stickers for cities, more likely to get bother for not having those and the fines can be rather high in certain places...

I've been to France with plain, none GB or stars number plate in the past .... I think French plod have more to worry about than a few British cars missing a GB sticker

Blobcat has his number plates spaced like that so that when he robs banks, his getaway car is completely untraceable. It's like a cloak of invisibility.

Exactly. Cloak of invisibility. Also, witnesses to the robberies can never quite remember the number because it's spaced in a special way. That's why the police devote so much time to the issue. Criminals are so wily these days.

My CLK has just got an EU blue sticker (with GB on it) on the end of the number plate . That’s good enough for this years euro trips .
I’ll buy new plain plates for both cars at the end of next year and then probably just use a white GB sticker
