Got the multi contour seat lumbar adjusters working for the first time since I got the car, which is great.

Then noticed the passenger well cargo net is missing and one of the five retaining clips has gone too, suggesting possibly the net has been torn out rather than carefully removed. It’s been gone since before I bought the car, but who the [language] takes things like this and doesn’t put them back? There don't seem to be any dark grey nets with retaining clips on eBay, and even though I know from my last MB that I’ll never even use it, it’s going to annoy me until I get this replaced.

I ran a VIN decoder on my car yesterday and was surprised to see that it had ambient lighting. I eventually found, I think, in the menu's and it seems there are not 60 different colours but 3. So it's either White, yellow or blue. Very strange, maybe I am missing something ??

Did it myself a long time ago as well, around 2006 I think. Result as posted below. 2003 E55. Possibly the most boring trip ever and I was only going to work.

But it's not a V8 so doesn't count, otherwise you might as well include EVs or hybrids like John Laidlaw's, they give crazy mpgs ...

I had a 360 mile commute (out on a Monday and back on a Friday) that I was paying for along with a house and a flat so an economical (Company) car was required. W213 E220d is what I had.
