Hello members,

Not an AMG but everyone needs a V10 Lambo

Left with us for a few days as we had the pleasure of installing BMC performance air filters and Full Quicksilver exhaust system.

Got to work as usual checking tyres, dif, coolent, oil and fuel quality while running diagnostics on the vehicle while letting everything cool as these run very hot and can soak while sitting very easily.

Multiple runs and sweep test along with different RPM tests.

Note Stock Real figures are with filters and Exhaust already in place....

OEM - 602bhp and 560nm

Real - 604bhp and 577nm

Stage 2 - 644bhp and 619nm


She responded beautifully

All that effort for just 40hp?
As you can see from the plots pretty much clean deltas all through rev range giving a lot more punch on the road than it sounds..... Couple with greatly improved throttle response, 20kgs off the back end from removal of the mild steel rear silencer assembly rest assured its very very noticeable

All that effort for just 40hp?
It's a naturally aspirated unit, and already in a fairly high state of tune from the factory, delivering 600bhp from 5200cc. It's not like the m156, which in some cars is detuned by limiting the throttle opening. Finding a further 40bhp is actually quite hard.

I know I'm an idiot but my car (E350 CDi) came away from GAD with 677Nm of torque which appears to be about 57Nm better than a Lambo whilst only producing 297hp compared to 644hp from the Lambo. I know it's diesel V petrol, but still hard to get my head around.

there are some twin turbo versions of this now , over 1000bhp I believe , I reckon that's a decent gain for an NA engine , id certainly have it done anyway , bet its sounds epic'er

Some supercharger bolt on's are +200bhp but some insane guys in the US do 2000bhp Turbo Kits lol insane

The way petrol and diesel produce power and torque is very different alot can be due to the V setup and also turbo vs NA and of course stroke

It took me 2 days to get that 40bhp out of it lol

I like those curves, really like seeing the OEM lines just enhanced rather than peaks and drops
